I feel like I start every post with “If there is one thing I love….” BUT for real!! I LOVE CRAFTS! As a kid, I loved crafting and making things- and would always see my mama crafting too! She made ALL of my Halloween costumes throughout Elementary School!! I’m talking…Queen of Hearts, Statue of Liberty(which won a prize-oh yeah!) A pumpkin, A witch, A genie- the list goes on and on! Nonetheless, my love for crafting has not stopped and I LOVE the chance at being creative to make things (one of my ABSOLUTE favorite things to do is build gift baskets and make it look at cute and pretty- not sure that’s a “craft” but it is for me! haha)
ANYWHO- I searched high and low for some craft ideas for you and created this list of FUN! I can’t wait to try some of these with my kiddos! 🙂 basically, you can turn anything into a pumpkin haha- but here you will find some easy ones with materials you *could* have right at home!
Paper plates! All you need is paper plates, paint/crayons/markers, glue, googly eyes (could also just use white & black paper), and construction paper!

Salt Dough Recipe! this one is a keeper for all kinds of handprints and footprints!
SALT DOUGH-
1 c salt
2 c All-Purpose flour
1 c water
Mix all ingredients together and as you go, add tablespoons of flour until the dough isn’t sticky. Then, roll it out on a floured surface!
A tip would be to press the hands and feet FIRST before cutting/making the shape you want. Before you bake- take a straw and poke a hole at the top so you can loop a ribbon through when done.
Pre-heat the oven to 325 and bake for 45-60 minutes…depending on how thick your dough is. Take out when dough is firm!

switching it up to a PAPER BOWL!
Can’t go wrong with a good popsicle craft- I also always find it MUCH easier gluing the sticks to a piece of cardstock or paper to help keep them together! After you’re all done- just cut the excess paper off!
AND when all else fails! Go to your local Michael’s Craft store and pick up ready to go craft kits!!! They have TONS! and always check their app or website for coupons before you go. If you are a teacher, show them your badge for 15% off each time you shop! Some options below…
